General Information

If there is something in Bullas which can be subject of being a museum content, that is wine with all its historical, cultural, social and economic implications. Wine has always been part of the Bullas life and it is very important in the Mediterranean culture. The Wine Museum project, brewed for years and developed in the framework of the Vinest Project, has several faces. It is a fundamental contribution to the survival of the living ways memories which may disappear and to the knowledge of a really fascinating world as the oenology and by other side it is a new and suggestive tourist attraction for the town. The Museum is located in one of the few traditional cellars absolutely well preserved, with brick vaults and earthen jars. Visitors can discovery the historical relation of this land with wine growing from the Roman times, as well as the technical process of wine making in its traditional and modern methods, from the vintage to the storage and aging in the cellars, finishing with didactic explanations on the grape varieties and also about the wine tasting.

Opening hours

WINE MUSEUM
From Tuesday to Saturday. Mornings from 10.30 to 14.00 h. Evenings from 17.00 to 20.00 h. (from November to March from 16.00 to 19.00 h.)
Sundays and holidays, mornings from 10.30 to 14.00 h Closed on Mondays except holidays. Closed on the 1st and 6th of January, and on the 24th, 25th and 31st of December. Last visit starts 30 minutes before closing.

HOUSE-MUSEUM D. PEPE MARSILLA
Visits are always arranged previously through the Wine Museum (from Tuesday to Saturday for organizad groups and from Thursday to Saturday for individuals visitors). The timetable is the same of the Wine Museum.
